Chef Scott Turner

Sky View Observatory

Scott has worked in the restaurant industry since 2005. He started in fine dining restaurants, dishwashing and bussing, working through high school.

He attended Texas Tech University's Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management program, then Le Cordon Bleu in Austin.

"I became a nomad chef, traveling around to learn the most I could." He worked in Savannah, Georgia, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, which included time as Head Chef at the Heart Six Ranch. One of his last stops was to learn barbecue in Texas where he worked for two years, developing a passion for it as Pitmaster at one of the highest-ranked barbeques in Texas.

He became the chef at Sky View Observatory in May 2018.
