Kick off the weekend festivities with an exquisite 4-course dinner with our family and winemakers from 7-10 p.m. Appetizer: Crostini with avocado hummus, smoked trout, and fresh corn puree. Paired with Airfield Estates 2015 Flygirl White. Salad: Wild berry compote, balsamic and black pepper vinaigrette, toasted pecans, crumbled goat cheese on a bed of mixed field greens. Paired with Airfield Estates 2016 Riesling. Entrée: Grilled tri tip with an ancho and coffee rub, sope, roasted summer squash, red chimichurri. Paired with Airfield Estates 2015 Malbec. 07 /29     Pacific Northwest Mushroom Festival

Pacific Northwest Mushroom Festival, July 29-30. Join the fungi fun at the 10th annual foodie gathering. This year, Chefs Ryan Ross and Amadeus—both of Food Network fame—will provide cooking demonstrations, alongside a variety of local culinary talent and mushroom experts. Don’t miss educational topics like “tasty or toxic” in the speaker panel, farm tours at Ostrom’s Mushroom Farm, fungi delicacies from local restaurants at the “Shroom Fest” and a glow run on Friday. The Olympia Brew Fest, taking place on the waterfront at the Port Plaza, celebrates Olympia's rich brewing heritage with more than 30 hand-picked, northwest breweries for sampling. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Thurston County Chamber Foundation Small Business Development (Incubator) Program.

08 /05     Edmonds Summer Wine Walk

Your favorite shops in downtown Edmonds will feature wine tastings from select Washington boutique wineries. Meet the local winemakers who will be pouring tastes of their hand-crafted wines in various shops so you can enjoy sipping, shopping and socializing. Tickets can be purchased for $25 each in advance, or for $30 the day of the event, as supplies last. Tickets includes 10 tokens for one-ounce pours. Additional tasting tokens will be available for purchase at the event. Wristbands, glasses, tasting maps and tokens will be distributed at tables in front of Coldwell Banker Bain starting at 4:30pm the day of the event. Participants must be 21+, ID required. Five Edmonds restaurants will be waiving corkage fees for the evenings of Wine Walk! Visit 190 Sunset, Girardi's Osteria, Chanterelle, Epulo Bistro, or Salt & Iron. Proceeds benefit Art Walk Edmonds, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the Arts in Edmonds.

The Clore Center honors Doug Gore of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, at the Legends of Washington Wine Hall of Fame Induction & Gala. In its 11th year, the Legends Gala will take on a new format. Featuring a delectable heavy appetizer style reception, elegant wines pairings, and live music, the evening will not disappoint. The program will round off with an AVA themed live auction, and a Raise the Paddle opportunity for guests to show their support for Clore Center programs, events, and services. It's a unique opportunity for industry, consumers, and our community to demonstrate a commitment to enhancing Washington's wine and agriculture industry.
