Russell Lowell Winemaker Dinner Series

What says spring louder than wine and spirits? Or, we're much louder during spring when drinking wine and spirits? Either way, enjoy spring with special events at Russell's! For wine enthusiasts, consider Russell's Forgeron Winemaker Dinner. Under the Loft's cathedral ceilings, French Winemaker Marie-Eve and her complex, food-friendly wines will tantalize your taste buds, complimenting the balanced flavor profile of Russell's pairings. If spirits are more enticing, enjoy an intimate evening of elite craft spirits and small plate offerings. Scratch Distillery in Edmonds will open their doors for 50 guests to sip, nosh and discover the GINiology framework that sets them apart.

Russell's Restaurant & Loft is located at 3305 Monte Villa Parkway in Bothell. Both dinners take place from 6:30-10 p.m. and winemakers/distillers will be on hand. The Forgeron Winemaker Dinner takes place Thursday, April 13th - tickets are $150. Scratch Distillery's Tapas & Cocktails will be on the Edmonds Waterfront at 190 Sunset Avenue South, Suite A. Swiftwater Cellars

More than just a tasting room, Swiftwater Cellars in Cle Elum is an experience. Their bar offers their wine plus beer and spirits. A full-service restaurant with an outstanding view offers a unique dining experience. The lodge-like atmosphere plus deck is the perfect place to re-set your thought process. Northwest Wine Encounter at Semiahmoo

Whether you're a wine aficionado or an inspired beginner, the perfect wine weekend awaits. It's fun wine learning-tasting, interacting, pairing. Winemakers like Chris Figgins of Leonetti, and Walter Gehringer of Gehringer Brothers in B.C. will discuss their selected favorites over a glass. Mike Sauer of Red Willow Vineyard and chef/author Roy Breiman will expand your knowledge of Pacific NW wine country. Agave Cocina & Cantina Kent Station

With good weather on the way, there’s no better place to enjoy Agave’s contemporary hand-crafted Mexican food than its two Kent Station patios. One patio faces the Kent Station Plaza with bright umbrellas. The second patio includes its own outdoor bar as an extension of the main bar, as well as a double-sided fireplace, and banquettes. What’s new? A glass enclosure has recently been added, making this space a coveted year-round spot. B & E Meats and Seafood

Who do you trust when picking out your Easter ham? B & E Meats and Seafood, of course! Opened in 1958, they've provided the highest-quality protein for every special, and casual, meal. This year, they won two championship awards at the Annual Northwest Cured Meat Championship Awards. One was for beef jerky and one, yes, for ham. Even as you read, they are preparing hundreds of award-winning hams (gourmet bone-in, spiral sliced bone-in, Phil's boneless ham) for your Easter extravaganza. They are also prepared with prime standing rib roasts and rack of lamb. Ensure you have the best for Easter!
