Revolve True Food & Wine Bar

Revolve is known for healthy dining, but what about healthy beverages? Glad you asked! One of the fun things they're doing is making shrubs (equal parts fruit, sweetener/sugar, vinegar) which can be used in alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks. Who can resist Rosemary Lynchburg Lemonade made with Woodinville Rye Whiskey, rosemary-lemon shrub, agave nectar, and lemon? Or a Cascade Berry Cooler made with berries, strawberry shrub, agave nectar and soda? Like everything at Revolve, beverage ingredients are all fresh: fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices. Alone or paired with a delicious, clean protein meal, shrubs may become your favorite!

Claret Wine Bar

Who doesn't love an inviting wine bar? Especially one where dishes and wine are paired to elevate both. If you're looking to improve your wine knowledge, check out their duos. Varietals, as well as the categories of Italy, Spain, and sparkling, list two wines each. Order one or get a smaller version of each to taste and compare. Weekend brunch and dinner are fine times to try pairing a bottle you've been eyeing. Menu items range from snacks and shareables to salads and sandwiches to full entrees, as well as desserts, of course. Their patio beckons as the weather gets nicer!

Claret Wine Bar is located at 3400 Stone Way North, right next to Thackeray. Brunch is offered Saturday-Sunday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Dinner is available Monday-Thursday 4-10 p.m., Friday 4-11 p.m., Saturday 3-11 p.m., and Sunday 3-10 p.m. Happy Hour takes place Monday-Friday 4-6 p.m. 206-452-0511.

B & E Meats and Seafood

Every mom is different, so the variety at B & E means you can meet any mom's food crushes! A surf 'n turf dinner will be that much sweeter with B & E's mouthwatering smoked, candied salmon to start, followed by a scrumptious barbecued prime rib-eye steak. Prepare it with B & E's own Butcher's Blend seasoning. Or go Dungeness or king crab, lobster, wild prawns, scallops or halibut filet with a favorite steak. Dusted Valley's Tall Tales Syrah

If you've met the family from Wisconsin who now farms three estate vineyards and makes wine with a sense of place, you know there's always a story. Always. Their Tall Tales Syrah is named after Wine Grower Corey Braunel's Grandpa Fred and his famous "tall tales." Heroics on the river, slaying mighty bears. And now Corey, Chad and families are telling their wine tales. Their Tall Tales Syrah is estate-grown in the Rocks District of Milton-Freewater-earthy, gamey, aromatic. Unforgettable. Sea-Tac airport really works hard to offer food options, but if you're looking to eat healthy, well… And yet, now you can. Your favorite vegetarian restaurant, Café Flora, has opened Floret with items you will find familiar: yam fries, portobello mushroom French dip, Oaxaca tacos, and an Italian black bean burger you will crave. Or go lighter: Caesar with fried capers, Superfood with kale, broccoli, Brussel sprouts and more. Pair with a delicious alcoholic beverage, maybe their own Garden Floret with pickled vegetables or the Fermented Fashion-bourbon, kombucha, bitters; wine or beer. Not enough time? They have grab-n-go options!

Floret is located at the intersection of Concourses A and B at Sea-Tac International Airport (yes you need a plane ticket to access). Grab-n-go options are available 5 a.m.-9 p.m., and sit-down dining hours are 6 a.m.-10 p.m. (breakfast 6 a.m.-1 p.m.; lunch/dinner 1-9 p.m.)

Chef Shop

If you're like people we know (are), you could eat Mexican food every day. How great to understand the basics to create amazing dishes at home! On May 24, you will have your chance. Chef Maria Troxell will be teaching home-style, authentic dishes based on the book Nopalito, by Gonzalo Guzman. The focus is on fresh and seasonal ingredients, with Guzman's unexpected taste twists; a mix of modern and traditional cuisine full of flavor. Enjoy the foods created in class (queso flameado, carnitas, tortillas, cabbage salad, salsa verde, asparagus quesadillas, churros with chocolate), plus appetizers, wine and conversation! Book today.
