Olympic Peninsula Red Wine, Cider & Chocolate Tour

It's back! Take a leisurely drive through the scenic towns of Chimacum, Nordland (Marrowstone Island), Port Townsend, Sequim and Port Angeles where nine artisan wineries and cideries will delight your palate with new red wine and hard cider releases and a variety of chocolate pairings! Walk on the savory side with Cacao Spice-Rubbed Lamb Skewers at Marrowstone Vineyards and Cocoa Spiced Pulled Pork at Camaraderie Cellars. On the sweet side, dip into the chocolate fountain at FairWinds Winery and enjoy decadent truffles created by local chocolatiers at each venue. Live music at Wind Rose Cellars and Finnriver Farms both tour weekends.

Due to snow, the Tour has been extended to the following weekend: February 23-24. More time to enjoy!!!

The self-guided tour takes place over two delicious weekends, February 9-10 and 16-18 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online for $40 or at any of the wineries for $45. Wine, cider and chocolate tastings at all nine wineries and a souvenir glass are included. Non-touring visitors will be charged a $10 tasting fee at each winery. Scratch Distillery

Dream of distilling? Grab the dream by attending GINology™ at Scratch Distillery. Distiller Kim Karrick has created a program that covers history, distilling overview, review of gin ingredients and developing/balancing a gin recipe. It's a one-of-a-kind gin-making class to improve your GINtelligence and take home your recipe in a Scratch custom gin bottle the same night. Chaco Canyon Organic Cafe

No matter your diet, everyone agrees that food simply has to taste good. Chaco Canyon has been offering delicious, clean, healthy food since 2003, and has now opened a third café on top of Queen Anne hill. Tasty and satisfying, this vegan menu is sustainably focused and most everything is made in-house (including kombucha, pastries, chai) or sourced from local vendors. While great for specialized diets and allergies, their food is also meant to energize you, not weigh you down.
