Olympic Peninsula Wineries' Northwest Wine, Cider and Cheese Tour

It's time for the Northwest Wine, Cider and Cheese Tour! A collaboration of nine award-winning wineries and cideries located in the Olympic Peninsula towns of Port Angeles, Sequim, Port Townsend, Nordland (Marrowstone Island) and Chimacum invite you to sample the season's new wine releases specially paired with artisan cheeses. Each venue has a unique character and flavor with a common warm hospitality. Enjoy a scenic drive to this beautiful region of our state and celebrate the flavors of spring! Willows Lodge and Barking Frog

The Georgian Revival: Washington Wines UNCORKED

Scratch Distillery

Once you've discovered Scratch Distillery and its spirit(ual) wonders, you'll want to be able to find it easily. Now you don't have to get to their Edmonds headquarters because their spirits are available statewide! Barrel Finished Gin and the flagship Martini Style Gin can be found at all Total Wine and More locations in Washington. All PCC locations carry Wheat Vodka, Pepper Infused Vodka, Citrus Infused Vodka, and the Martini Style Gin. Brinnon ShrimpFest

Memorial weekend screams sun, water, and seafood. Great way to celebrate? Brinnon ShrimpFest, a community celebration of the Hood Canal Spot Shrimp and other local seafood! Try shrimp onsite plus there are limited quantities of Hood Canal Shrimp for sale. Tides are low enough this weekend for easy harvest of clams and oysters on the public beaches nearby (license required), and weather is traditionally marvelous! Family fun includes arts and craft booths, live music, kids' activities. Don't forget the annual belt sander races: bring your own decorated belt sander to enter. Races take place at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
