Cichetti   206-323-0807
121 E Boston, Seattle   Eastlake
A tiny gem, Cichetti is a Venetian cichetti (tapas) bar meant to be a place to come with friends or alone, have a cocktail or glass of wine and some amazingly delicious food from the woodburning oven. Downstairs, the bar is the focal point with counter seats to view the kitchen action and chat with your counter-neighbors. Upstairs is a private dining area with a view of Lake Union and the city. Cichetti is a lively spot you'll want to visit more than once.
Specializing in Tapas, Mediterranean, Cocktails.

Eastlake Bar & Grill   206-957-7777
2947 Eastlake Ave E, Seattle   Eastlake
A "cousin" to the Greenlake Bar & Grill, the Eastlake takes advantage of the lake view with a nice big deck and large windows. The concept is relaxed neighborhood hangout with good food. Feel free to take the family.
Specializing in American, Brunch (weekend), Banquet.

Kristos Eastlake   206-588-8885
3218 Eastlake Ave E, Seattle   Eastlake
Cool interior, high ceilings and lots of light make this an inviting spot. You can have casual items (burgers, pizza, gyros, skewers, salad) at lunch and dinner, but dinner also offers higher-end dishes like steak.
Specializing in Greek, Burgers, Pizza, Sandwiches, Lunch, Dinner.

Laadla Cuisine of India   206-223-1980
234 Fairview Ave N, Seattle   Lake Union, Eastlake
It may be tough parking, but it doesn't stop the throngs coming in for lunch buffet--maybe office workers from the neighborhood? The buffet line sits in front of a kitchen pass-through window. Fabric lamp shades of berries and leaves don't look too Indian, but no one looks up from their food long enough to notice. They're happy to accommodate special dietary needs. Open 7 days a week.
Specializing in Indian.

Le Fournil   206-328-6523
3230 Eastlake Ave E, Seattle   Eastlake
A French bakery at the south end of the University Bridge, it's not really a place to stay and eat, as it’s mostly a bakery (lemon tarts, pain au chocolate, croissants, along with the breads), although there are a few tables and benches to share. For lunch there are quiches (ham and caramelized onion), and baguette sandwiches (made on crusty bread with a hint of rye).
Specializing in French, Sandwiches, Bakery.

Louisa's Bakery and Café   206-325-0081
2379 Eastlake Ave E, Seattle   Eastlake
Soups, sandwiches, salads and lots of tasty baked goods make Louisa's a nice place to sit down and socialize, or stop in for a picnic bundle.
Specializing in Breakfast, Lunch, Picnic.

Paddy Coynes Irish Pub   206-405-1548
1190 Thomas St, Seattle   Lake Union, Eastlake
Dark wood tables and walls, a curved bar and warm fireplace flanked by benches and a table make this a truly welcoming Irish pub. Standards like shepherd's pie are stand-outs, but the menu also offer burgers and fish and chips. Daily specials are announced, well, daily. The neighborhood can be difficult to park in, so walk or take your chances. It's worth it.
Specializing in Irish.

Pazzo's   206-329-6558
2307 Eastlake Ave E, Seattle   Eastlake
Pazzo's is a staple in the Eastlake area. It's a very casual place with wood floors, rough-looking wood tables and TVs. The Italian menu isn't extensive, but it's consistently good. Pizzas, calzones, sandwiches, crisp salads. Full bar.
Specializing in Italian.

Pete's Market   425-454-1100
134 105th Ave NE, Seattle   Eastlake
Pete's provides a broad selection of local, west coast and European wines and there's always some great specials here.
Specializing in Wine, Picnic.

Pomodoro Ristorante   206-324-3160
2366 Eastlake Ave East, Seattle   Eastlake
Quaint Eastlake establishment has a delicious affordable menu and intimate dining to boot. Gets a little noisy sometimes.
Specializing in Italian, Tapas.
