It's big and so are the flavors. Good variety on dim sum and everything is very fresh. It can feel a bit cavernous as you walk in, but once you start eating and talking you never notice it again. Amazing variety of dishes, including some done Vietnamese style.

The lavender and white color sscheme outside is eye-catching and continues throughout the interior. Fish flourish inside--fresh fish tanks and an aquarium (the aquarium fish seem somehow more carefree). Walls are painted with ocean scenes of fish and plants. A full Chinese menu is offered along with good dim sum.

Two large dining rooms are filled with maroon and teal colors in this casual spot. They offer dim sum daily along with their regular menu. You can get around the large menu by choosing lettered lunches (A-E) or numbered dinners (1-3). But it's more fun to read all the options and try something new.

Jumbo is not just a meaningless name--this place seats 400 and has about 200 menu items. Large family parties, banquets--this is the place to go. Wonderful dim sum in Issaquah! Lovely, soothing colors and nicely-spaced tables allow everyone to have a relaxing time. Booths run down one side of the space and there's plenty of room for the dim sum carts to roll through! Come for dinner and enjoy Chinese traditions done well. Chef is from Hong Kong, owners are Issaquah residents. Great outside deck for those warm days and nights. Wine and beer.

Located on the plaza level of one of downtown's tall buildings, O'Asian looks and feels sophisticated and urban. Menu items are more traditional--Peking duck, salt and pepper prawns and hand shaved noodles. Dim sum is offered daily from 10:30 to 3 p.m., and here's the good part, also from 5 p.m. to midnight. Dinner dim sum! Everything is from China--chairs, dishes, pots. Twelve types of teas are offered, some high end, along with a full tea service. Several nice options for private dining. No MSG used. Full bar with nice bar area.

Like many Hong Kong cafes, this one serves up quite a melange of dishes. Think Hawaiian-style pineapple and seafood fried rice served in a pineapple shell, French-style baked seabass with Japanese-style baked oysters or chicken served in a green coconut shell. There are a number of steaks, congee, noodle soups and dim sum. All very inexpensive.
