Ballard
After a history of multiple fires, Ray's is still standing, serving delicious seafood and meats with a view of the inlet to Ballard's locks. The upstairs bar is a favorite for those awaiting seating or just watching the game. This is a Seattle tradition that can't be missed. Take a look at the extensive wine list (we suggest doing more than just looking).

The Capital Grille
206-382-0900
1301 Fourth Ave,
Seattle
Downtown
It's Seattle's first Capital Grille, although there are many across the US (primarily East Coast). Despite being a chain, they use local ingredients and "the freshest seafood Seattle has to offer." Dry aged steaks are their claim to fame. Atmosphere-wise, it's got a lot of dark wood and dim lighting, but is more of a jazzy, younger place than a rat pack place. There's a million niches in the world. Full bar, lots of wine choice.

Belltown
It has the look of a Belltown bar, but there's more beneath the surface. They have a serious chef putting the twist on classics (not just chili, but boar chili) and offering lots of small plates as well as entrees like chicken saltimbocca and stuffed King salmon and using local ingredients whenever possible. They also have a nice space for business meetings (with projector and screen) or private events. It's still a great place for a cocktail or glass of wine, but don't overlook the food!
