Aladdin Falafel   206-548-9539
4541 University Way NE, Seattle   University District

Costas Opa   206-633-4141
3400 Fremont Ave N, Seattle   Fremont
Considering the amount of traffic that whips by this Greek restaurant, you can almost believe you’re in Athens (there’s just less horn honking). Add ouzo and roast lamb to the scene and you’re there. There’s a wide variety of familiar dishes at this relaxed restaurant, not to mention a full bar.
Specializing in Greek.

Lola   206-441-1430
2000 4th Ave, Seattle   Downtown
Even with lots of windows, this space feels warm and intimate. Earth tones and hand-painted chandeliers do the trick. As with all Tom Douglas restaurants, you'll find interesting items on the menu, this time with a Greek bent. Great bar with fun drinks.

Nikos Gyros   206-285-4778
2231 32nd Ave W, Seattle   Magnolia
Colorful Greece comes to Magnolia in this white stucco building. Picnic tables provide sidewalk seating; inside there are just a few tables in the small space. Order gyros, souvlaki, keftedes and horiatiki salad at the counter.

Orexi I   425-455-5344

Terra-cotta depictions of Greek heroes, statuary and mellow lighting set the stage for enjoying Greek foods. Nice menu item presentation.

Panos Kleftiko   206-301-0393
815 5th Ave N, Seattle   Queen Anne (Lower)
Moderate pricing and warm ambience abound in this Greek restaurant. You would be fine ordering a bunch of yummy appetizers, or go for one of the entrees if you're really ravenous. The small-ness of this restaurant makes you think two things--how intimate and cozy it is, and how can they possibly make this great food in that little tiny kitchen? Beer and wine.
Specializing in Greek.

Plaka Estiatorio   206-829-8934
5407 20th Ave NW, Seattle   Ballard
You don't have to go to Greece to get a Greek food experience. The staff at Plaka welcomes you like a neighborhood friend and offers up seasonal dishes, traditional favorites and atmosphere of a contemporary village taverna. Wine.

Santorini Grill   425-822-0555
106 Central Wy, Kirkland   Kirkland
Need a Greek fix to bring back the mouth-watering flavors and eye-popping colors of the islands? This small spot in Kirkland might be just the ticket. The inevitable and wonderful blue-and-white color scheme is reminiscent of hillside cities over brilliant blue seas. Photos of the real thing hang on the walls in case of a slow-imagination day. Gyros, souvlaki and falafel remind taste buds of sunny outdoor cafes. Stretch out the experience by taking feta, olives and tzatziki home from the deli.
Specializing in Greek.

Tantalus   425-391-6090
317 NW Gilman Blvd, #37, Issaquah   Issaquah

Tula's   206-443-4221
2214 Second Ave, Seattle   Belltown
Tula's is more about music than food. It's a spot that's easy to walk right by, but well worth the visit. Great artists for reasonable cover charges. The stage is the center of the room with seating around--all good seats. Menu items are mostly along the Greek/Italian line. Full bar.
Specializing in Greek, Italian, Music.

Yanni's Café   206-783-6945
7419 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle   Greenwood
The neighbors tell the story as they fill this Greek outpost in the Greenwood section of the city. Is it owned by that new age guy? You had to ask.
