Ageless Chef, Bettina Carey Hosts Bavarian Sunday Supper Club

Keeping the Oktoberfest spirit alive, and excited for another chance to wear my dirndl, I’m thrilled to announce my next Sunday Supper Club—Bavarian style—right at my home in Des Moines, WA on September 29! This time, I’ll be in my kitchen whipping up some classic Bavarian dishes with a twist!


Get ready for a feast featuring:


  • German Charcuterie Board (Wurstplatte) – A selection of traditional German meats, cheeses, pickles, and accompaniments to start the night.

  •  German Potato Salad (Kartoffelsalat) —Tangy, warm, and full of flavor with a touch of bacon and mustard.

  •  Bratwurst – Juicy and perfectly seasoned, served with all the traditional fixings.

  •  Pretzels (Brezeln) – Soft, warm, and freshly baked, perfect for dipping or eating independently.

  •  Spätzle – Homemade, buttery, and soft German noodles are the ultimate comfort food.

  •  Schnitzel (Breaded Pork Cutlets) – Crispy, golden pork or chicken cutlets, fried to perfection.

  •  Sauerkraut is the perfect tangy side to complete your German-themed Sunday Supper Club, pairing wonderfully with bratwurst, schnitzel, and pretzels.

  •  Indulge in the rich, decadent flavors of Black Forest cake, layered with luscious chocolate, cherries, and whipped cream—an irresistible dessert for any occasion!
